Pancake Day – Two Healthy Pancakes

Who wants to be left out of pancake day… certaintly not me, but rather than your average unhealthy pancake, I will be tucking into the below protein packaged pancakes.

All you need to do is follow the below recepies then you have a delicious pancake, but without the guilt of breaking your diet plan.

#1 – Apple Strawberry Blueberry Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:
3 egg whites
1 big apple, cored
1/4 cup of strawberry whey protein
1/4 cup of coconut flour
1/8 cup of blueberries

Directions:
1. Mix the egg whites, happe, strawberry whye protein and coconut flower together.
2. Spray pan with either non-stick spray, or use a little butter and heat on a low/medium heat.
3. Pour the batter into the pan in small circles and add the blueberries.
4. When you start to see bubbles forming, flip the pancake over slowely.

Per servings, recipe makes two servings

#2 – Banana and Vanilla Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:
1 small banana
1 small (120g) cooked sweet potato
1/2 cup of liquid egg whites
1/2 cup of vanilla whey

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together for 2-3 minutes.
2. Spray pan with either non-stick spray, or use a little butter and heat on medium heat.
3. Pour batter into pan in small circles.
4. When you start to see bubbles forming, flip the pancake over slowely.

    After my wife making me pancakes and breaking my diet on pancake day, i was looking for a healthy alternative, since i really do love pancakes, thank you i will be sure to try the recipies soon.
