Cardio Workout Plan

A cardio workout plan is essential for beginners to professionals alike, for reasons ranging from losing weight to ensuring you are appropriately warmed up, in order to not injure yourself, when weight training etc., as part of your plan you should also wear the correct sports clothing, to allow you to properly carry out the movements and for your body to be able to breath. images

You should also drink water while doing cardio to replace the water lost by sweat, in order to not get dehydrated.

The reason you have to decide a reason for doing cardio, is that each specific reason for doing cardio, needs a slightly different plan, to fulfil that specific reason such as if you are only doing it as a warm up, you would design your plan, with this in mind.

Once you have designed the plan it should be performed on a regular basis, with a set duration and intensity.

The second part of this article is going to be in two parts, the first being primary designed for a warm up and the second being suggestions for weight loss.

With this in mind, a basic set of cardio exercises perfect for a warm up would be stretching which is a staple for anyone serious about going to the gym. Stretching can be simple as touching your toes, or stretching your arms.

Another warm up exercise would be Walking, start slowly then increase your speed, after you have finished rather than immediately stopping, you should move Skipping or Jumping Jacks , after you have done that, Stretch as this will prevent sore muscles, and that’s about it for a warm up.

Now warming up is covered, let’s move onto the second part of this article, which is some interesting ways to use cardio with the specific intention of losing weight, my favourite is “Tae Bo”, it is a form of Boxing which is considered to be the best cardio workout, to lose weight and increase your self-defence skills, while this is good for men and women alike, other alternatives include  Zumba which is form of exercise comprising of dance and hip hop music, or for the more fruitier women, you try Pole Dancing, which is probably the best cardio workout for women, when it comes to losing fat and toning muscles.
