Concealer For Men

There is allot of debates about men wearing makeup, like i was talking to some girls the other day, and they were at first like no men shouldn’t wear makeup, because they think of makeup as a foundation, eye liner etc., so I asked them about two men:

Man A – Wears concealer to be the best him since he has acne.

Man B – Wears foundation, eye liner etc. just for fun.

They though it fine for Man A to make the best of himself, but thought Man B was probably a little gay, now you see this debate is one where there is no definitive answer to is it ok for men to wear makeup, since there is so many types of makeup etc.
As a guy who likes women and when single likes to play the field, it is important i make the best of myself, and therefore when i had acne, i would proudly wear concealer, as a result of a little concealer and going to the gym, i started getting way more positive attention in clubs from attractive women, since i was more now attractive.

Is that not cheating though?

Yes, but women cheat all the time, there are plenty of women who look pretty dam average during the day, but at night with some foundation, blusher, mascara, fake eye lashes, fake nails, etc. look amazing, compared to all the products women use, concealer is barely any cheating at all.

Now all that’s out the way what concealer do you use?

Personally I’m not a big fan of these for men concealers you get online, there is usually not much variant in colour tone (matching to skin colour is very important), and they are not always very acne friendly, a female friend of mine recommended MAC Concealer for being really acne friendly and loads of girls on YouTube use it to cover up acne too.

So I went into the MAC Shop in London, I felt a little awkward at first, since i have never been into a makeup shop before, asked for some “MAC Select-Cover up“, they then helped me select skin tone, mine is “NW20” but yours may vary so don’t be shy and just ask for NW20, tell the girls in the shop you looking for “MAC Select-Cover up” and they will help you find your skin tone, it is important to match the skin tone, so it blends in with your natural skin, this doesn’t matter so much for women since they usually cover their whole face, but for us, just covering up the red acne marks, it is imperative.

After you have the “MAC Select-Cover up” you will need a makeup brush too.

How to apply?

Stand in front a mirror, put a little touch of the concealer on your finger, dab it on the spot(s) you want to conceal then rub in a circular motion, after you have covered them all, then just rub you face with the brush to take off any excess.
